What We Do

Through our free ESL, Digital Literacy, and Math for GED classes, our students are equipped to perform better at their jobs, earn their high school degrees, and find the emotional support they need to care for their families and to be strong, contributing members of society. This is all made possible because of our supporters and volunteers!

The heart behind The Open Door has always been to provide MORE than just free English classes. What makes us different is that we strive to build a community — each student who joins us becomes part of The Open Door familia.

Your donation can make a major impact on a student's life:

$25 monthly / $300 one-time — Equips Classrooms With Needed Tools
Opens the door through workbooks and supplies which ensure students have resources needed to stay engaged, prepared, and motivated.
$50 monthly / $600 one-time — Launches a Semester for Two Students
Opens the door to a semester of English instruction for two students which helps them to build practical skills and daily confidence.
$100 monthly / $1,200 one-time — Sponsors a Full Year for Two Students
Opens the door to a full year of learning for two students as they push towards their goals for employment, confidence, and long-term stability.
$150 monthly / $1,800 one-time — Funds a Full Year for a Family
Opens the door for a family to thrive together with parents participating in English classes while their children access our kids program, a safe and supportive place to learn while their parents pursue life-changing goals.
